The Betas were very busy this week! In math, we continued our exploration of odd/even numbers and built the world’s tallest ice cream cone! It was filled with dozens of scoops featuring even & odd numbers. We also worked on ordering and comparing numbers using the symbols <, = and >. We played Mystery Number using clues like, “My number is greater than…” On our last day with the mystery bags we worked with a partner to count the number of items in several bags and record the number using digits and words. Monday Gym offers a little sumpin’ for EVERYONE… Parents Please Note- No School on Monday! Our BRAIN is “What’s Inside Me” this week… This week, we explored some of the evolutionarily ancient parts of our brains: the parts that keep us alive, and parts that protect us and keep us safe, and the parts that help us learn. We learned the benefits of having a Growth Mindset and how important it is to fill others’ buckets. At the end of the week, each new Beta was given a

We sat in new tables teams every day and
